Abstract：Australian government promulgated the first National Professional Standard for Principals in July, 2011. The standard which consists of three leadership requirements and five professional practices of principals providing principals a framework for professional learning in Australia, guiding self reflection, self-improvement and development and guiding the management of self and others shows the four features of unification, coordination, cooperation and science. It will enlighten us when we start to make our own standard for principals.
