Abstract:There is a popular belief that the basic problems of pedagogy are scientific problems. Mr. Chen Guisheng adopts the methods of logic and history. He converts the scientific problems of pedagogy to the problems of what kind of educational knowledge as the highest form, through historical perspective and analysis of the pedagogy phenomenon, and the epistemology of pedagogy theory which is obtained through the study will be applied to the construction of the theoretical system. By doing that, two kinds of educational systems, the theoretical pedagogy and the practical pedagogy, are formed.
