Abstract The primary and secondary national curriculum in UK has been highlighting the international and global dimension since the beginning of the 21st century. The government and some relevant institutes or associations have published a series of documents and guidelines, taken up various measures and carried out some programs to promote this, and also revised and reformed the secondary curriculum. All of these indicates the development and tendency of primary and secondary curriculum in UK,which will shine light on our new curriculum and provide enlightenment in the cultivation of international intelligences, especially the internalization of basic education.
