Abstract:The political thinker Hannah Arendt believed that the Adolf Eichmann’s behavior was the banality of evil in the World War II. They are not devils or sadists, but they helped the Nazi holocaust the Jews. The inform, as a phenomenon in the daily life, the informer is not the wicked but one of the beings, functions the panoptic vulgar evil. The panoptic evil is from educational production and reproduction, and has its deeply social-culture origin, namely, the good-evil humanity evaluation, the totalitarianism of collectivism. Can we escape the panoptic “prison”? and how? Maybe this is a question at the same time a warning. Rethinking the “group” is the possible approach.
