Abstract It is a consensus that educational practice and educational discourse are constructed each other, the problems in educational practice field have close relationship to some educational discourses. In some way, educational discourses maintain these issues. This paper studies the educational discourses which assert the competition and control phenomena in the perspective of rhetorical studies, reveals how the rhetoric mechanism firms this ideologicalization.
