Abstract Peer tutoring is a learning style which peers can help each other and learn by teaching. Tutoring is not only good for the tutee, but also beneficial for the tutor. Tutoring partners can enhance the tutors’ learning ability and academic achievement, promote the development of personality, help master the interpersonal and social skills, and develop moral character and behavior. Facing the excess expansion of individualism, we need to create cooperative learning environment, cultivate students’ cooperative consciousness and skills, use peer tutoring in the teaching process actively.
